Seed Ventures Ltd is the ‘Sweat Equity’ arm of The IBA Ltd. If you have start up or rapidly expanding business opportunity that meets our basic criteria but have non existent or depleted cash funds to take the business forward and you are prepared to exchange equity share within your business for knowledge/mentoring and fund raising skills, then we would like to hear from you.

We only take on 5-10 companies/annum thus the entrant standard is very high.

Basic criteria:

• Are your personal funds exhausted?
• Have you already committed significant funds in the development of your project and if so can you prove this?
• Do you have a European or World wide potential market, can you prove this?
• Have you created IPR (Intellectual property rights)?
• Are you forecasting rapid growth at 100%+ year on year for the first three years post product launch?

Seed Ventures has no interest in the following areas:

• Estate & Land Agents/Sports Agent
• Real Estate
• A franchised business
• Farming/Agriculture
• A commission only based business

How we invest:

On the basis that we believe that your business opportunity has merit and having met the founder(s) we will offer a simple MOU (memorandum of understanding) outlining our sweat equity investment proposal. Our minimum equity stake is 10%. Our exit strategy is normally at the second round funding stage.
